Peace of Mind Protection Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all previously owned vehicles (excluding Demos, commercial vehicles or as is vehicles) sold at retail by any Used Car Corner affiliated dealer. Each vehicle retailed by Used Car Corner dealers has gone through our rigorous industry-leading 150 point inspection and state-of-the-art reconditioning experience. The majority of our inventory has the remainder of the existing manufacturer’s warranty. The option of extended service contracts is also available on every vehicle sold by our dealers. In the event of a major mechanical issue that cannot be repaired, Used Car Corner offers a 30 Day Exchange Privilege. The purchased vehicle may be exchanged for another used vehicle of equal or greater value in stock at the individual location, with the client responsible for any difference. The exchange is subject to a $999 administration fee as well as ant cost of licensing. The privilege is available for 30 days or 1500 kilometres from the date and mileage on the client’s original bill of sale. An inspection of the returning vehicle by the dealer to ensure that it is in the same condition as it was on delivery, with no modifications, damage or repairs completed without the consent of the Used Car Corner is necessary. Installed accessories may be transferred to the new unit at the client’s expense or remain on the exchanged unit with no refund. The exchange is a privilege and has no cash value and may not transfer or assigned to another individual. The exchange privilege is subject to approved credit and does not apply to vehicles that have had an additional lien or encumbrance (other than the original contract) attached. Used Car Corner is committed to the satisfaction of its clients. We are so confident that our clients will be happy with their purchase we offer a one-time forty-eight-hour return policy with each used vehicle that we retail. The sold vehicle must be returned to the original selling dealer within 48 hours of delivery (weekends and holidays included) or with less than 200 additional documented kilometres on the odometer to qualify. An inspection of the returning vehicle by the dealer to ensure that it is in the same condition as it was on delivery, with no modifications, damage or repairs completed without the consent of the Used Car Corner is necessary. Any installed accessories are to remain on the vehicle with no refund given. The return policy has no cash value and may not transfer or assigned to another individual. The return policy does not apply to deals with special financing or on vehicles that have had an additional Lein or encumbrance (other than an original contract) attached.
Lifetime Engine Warranty
TERMS, DURATION, AND EXTENSION: This Plan does not extend a vehicle manufacturer’s warranty and will take effect after the OEM warranty expires. However, BG Products, Inc., will pay
your deductible amount under any extended service contract purchased by you. It is subject to the terms and conditions contained herein.
COVERED: Payment of claims under this Plan is limited to the labor time necessary to make repairs or to replace any irreparably damaged parts as allocated by ProDemand® or other industry
accepted flat rate guide, multiplied by the commercial repair shop’s hourly labor rate, plus the reasonable cost of replaced parts of like kind and quality at the administrator’s discretion.
CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS: If the vehicle odometer has been changed or altered, or if the odometer has ceased to function, coverage under the terms of this Plan is not in effect. This
Plan covers only legally registered passenger cars, vans, SUVs, and pick-up trucks with a GVW of 14,000 pounds/6,300 kg or less. Motorcycles, RVs, and vehicles with more than two axles are
excluded. Vehicles used for competitive purposes are excluded. Vehicle repairs included in a NHTSA or manufacturer-issued recall will not be covered by this plan. This Plan excludes in-house
maintenance/repair facilities. In the case of a leased vehicle, the lessee must be primarily obligated for repairs and maintenance. If the covered vehicle is used for towing a trailer or other
vehicle or object, this Plan is not in effect unless the covered vehicle is equipped with factory-installed tow package. Any claim resulting from collision, fire, theft, vandalism, contamination
of fluids, acts of God, misuse, abuse, negligence, damage caused by operation during component failure, aftermarket modification which affects the component specified in the claim, or lack
of normal maintenance required by vehicle manufacturer renders this Plan null and void. Pre-existing conditions and damage to system components prior to the service are excluded and
may be verified through independent parts analysis at the discretion of BG Products, Inc. Also excluded are “Washed,” “Branded,” Salvage or Junk titled vehicles and services performed as a
demonstration or as complimentary services. Failure to furnish all necessary records will render this Protection Plan null and void. This is a retail service customer retention program.
CLAIMS AND REPAIR PROCEDURES: In the event of a claim, and prior to completing any repairs, the Repair Facility must submit the claim to the BG Products Claims Administrator at courtesyclaims.
com. One payable claim per service interval, per system, is permitted. This Plan is transferable if vehicle ownership changes. BG Products, Inc., is not responsible for incidental
or consequential damages. It will apply only to authorized repairs made for vehicles operated in the United States of America, Puerto Rico or Canada. This document may not be modified.
The terms and conditions contained within may be subject to change without notice. Courtesy Claims Management, LLC, reserves the right to verify up to 24 months of service history when
processing a claim.
